Publication Ethics

  1. Ethical Guidelines for Authors
    1. The articles submitted must fulfil the condition of originality and academic norms of citation. All articles included in the journal must be unpublished, and they cannot be submitted to any other publications, unless it has been rejected by the Journal, or withdrawn by the authors.
    2. The intellectual property of the article must belong exclusively to the authors, who take the responsibility for the content.
    3. Authors must clearly credit the use of pre-existent material and bear the responsibility for checking whether material submitted is subject to copyright or ownership rights. The authorization and acknowledgment must be given including photographs, tables, illustrations, etc.
  2. Ethical Guidelines for Editors
    1. The editors, in compliance with their mission of safeguarding the ethics and the scientific and academic quality of the publication, share with the authors and the reviewers the responsibility of the compliance of the above-mentioned conditions and of the existent legislation regarding defamation, copyright, infraction and plagiarism.
    2. The articles will be evaluated based only on their content, regardless of commercial interests and without any kind of ethnic, racial, ideological, religious, gender or any other type of discrimination.
    3. The editors will guarantee the anonymous peer review process, and they commit themselves not to make public the information related to that process.
    4. The Editorial Board should recommend reviewers according to the specific area of the articles to submit proper comments for the authors. Reviewers directly relate to the authors must be excluded through the peer review process.
    5. academic ethics dispute in accordance with guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)[1]. Contributors are supposed to express their opinion by proper approach when facing disputing issue.
  3. Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers
    1. Reviewers will also safeguard the originality of the article, being obliged to inform if they detect a non-compliance of this condition.
    2. Reviewers commit themselves to safeguard anonymity and confidentiality.
    3. The articles, as a result, will be evaluated based only on their content, regardless of commercial interests and without any kind of ethnic, racial, ideological, religious, gender or any other type of discrimination.
    4. Reviewers will abstain from personal criticisms to the author.
    5. Reviewers must also declare any potential conflict of interest.
